This was at this week’s open mic at the Highlander in Paris. The open mic community here is quirky - there are the regular old guys who used to be lawyers and have found their second callings, the young musicians trying to get a step up, the groupies, and the people that just fuck around. Everyone knows each other, and everyone’s always supportive, even though we’ve all heard each other’s songs a million times.
